What's Spinning

Forgot I ordered this one from VMP! Hopefully it ships soon - it says it’s in stock.
It sounds excellent and the packaging is top notch. Not sure who cut or pressed it there isn’t much info in the runout grooves but it’s quiet and pristine sounding. My interest was piqued when I read about Jim O’Rourke’s involvement, it is a wonderful collection of music.

Settling in for a full night with Kate?

I love this one when I pull it out but it doesn’t get as many airings as it really does involve having a good chunk of time to work my way through it!
Yep, same here! I’ll probably go two discs tonight and wrap things up tomorrow. It’s definitely a bit much in one setting, but the Act format does help break things up where I don’t feel like I’m giving up I move on to something else for a bit.

My most expensive album, according to Discogs. A few years ago UNICEF did a run of blue vinyl releases of selected albums, limited to 50. I knew that folk would want the Bowie one etc, so I put in for this thinking I had a better chance. You know the resellers aren’t donating their profits back to UNICEF, which is a shame…
