What's Spinning

@MikeH I'm glad you kept taking about how great this one is because it convinced me to pull the trigger and it's phenomenal. On my second spin back-to-back!
Glad you're enjoying it! I spun it back to back on the first play too. I'm really surprised that more people haven't been praising how good it is. I get that it's not the most popular of ELO's titles, but it's by far the best I have ever heard the album.

I hope they eventually reissue this (beyond Plain). I have been tempted to spend a hundo on an OG but realize the moment I purchase it a reissue would be announced.
I think there are some significant rights issues that are preventing this from happening. Alan puts out a variation of this tweet every few months:
Unfortunately, those first few records are still owned by the big conglomerate that absorbed the small label we were on. I thought we took over ownership after 25 years, but we’ve been getting the run around and they say they own them forever. Sorry. We’ll keep trying.
Some great Acetone records are also lost in the Vernon Yard limbo as well, but it's especially frustrating that those Low albums are inaccessible. Those would be catalog staples on any mid-size indie label.
