RIP Grachan Moncur III

Can’t say enough good things about this album. Playing it now in tribute.

Grachan Moncur III, trailblazing jazz trombonist, dies at 85

Moncur, who played an outsize role in jazz's evolution during the 1960s, died Friday on his birthday after a period of poor health.
