Curtis Mayfield - Super Fly
Rhino reissue - Walmart edition (2022)
Threw this in on a random Walmart order when I needed to hit free shipping in the spring and forgot about it until I got the shipping notice. Sounds great - same metalwork as the recent Rhino SYEOR.

Joe is a fucking beast. In my top blues guitarists, no doubt.
Nice to see you, maam. Pew pew.

Yes I had and eventually I bit around March/April. I’d sold a couple on cogs and justified it as not spending new money on records lol!

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
Columbia reissue (2019)
More live Bob! Sugar!
I listened to the 1989 live album 3 times yesterday. This Sugar live set is just as good!
I think this live boxset will get the most spins out of the Bob sets.
Anyway, play what you got/No buy thread is getting stronger each day. Join us, won’t you? Some
is being dropped over there!
PS it’s great to fall in love with Bob’s music again
Today, I am gonna hit some amazing live shows that I’ve recently picked up on wax…
Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band - The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts

Digable Planets - Blowout Comb
Modern Classics reissue - pseudo VMP edition (2017)
The Rolling Stones - El Mocambo 1977
Bath Orton - Trailer Park
I'm so glad there's finally an alternative to the Plain record from a few years back. This sounds incredible with deep bass and Beth's voice front and center even while she's almost whispering.
If you're a Beth Orton fan I'd definitely recommend tracking this down while you have the chance.
