In the end, they had a very “Jack White” sound, if that makes sense. Think they had the potential with the band members to do a lot more. Like the Jack White sound though, so it’s not a bad thing…
Listened to a documentary on Delia a few years back, and it had snippets of this in it: basically interviews of people recounting their dreams behind a bed of tape loops. Made sense in the confines of the doco, but as a full record it sounds weird. In the right mood, it’s great, but you have to be in the mood.
Pretty good , a couple of ticks on this one, but overall nice, I also have the Complete Sessions from Mosaic, I haven’t done a compare but that probably sounds better.
