As others have already commented, this is not the Coltrane pick for the masses. I'm not that into the Jazz scene, despite having a few favorites in the genre, but I think the only thing I don't care for about this album is the stereo mix on the title track. It works better for me on subsequent tracks, but the hard left channel piano distracts me from the experience on that first track. Dearly Beloved on the other hand is excellent in my opinion and feels like it comes from a completely different session.

I've been saving this one for a rainy day and today that's all it's been doing. They slapped Side B labels on both sides, but it sounds good and there was no upcharge for the signed version which was cool.
