Charlie Watts was solid. Solid in every facet of his life. Rock solid drummer. Solid dresser. A solid family man, married in 1964 and with the same woman until his death.
In contrast to all the other Stones' shit, Charlie was always the classy shine.
I love these guys....another great Cartwright vehicle. They broke up, but I am going to see Cartwright's earlier band, Compulsive Gamblers in Detroit on Sunday as part of a Detroit Cobras/Rachel Nagy tribute. Pretty excited.
