This is a grail of mine, so was stoked to find it on the Cogs, graded VG/VG+ with the comment “Very clean copy, sleeve in great shape, a couple surface scratches on B side of the record”.

Well there are a lot more than a couple surface scratches on both sides. Cleaned it with my Spin Clean, playing it now, there’s a skip on Side A, along with lots of background ticks that occasionally break through the music. Haven’t played side B yet.

Does VG sound like a proper grading?

Trying to figure out if this purchase was graded properly, crosspost from Fresh Grabs. FWIW, there are a couple skips on both sides.
