It sometimes feels like coloured vinyl is a modern fad to sell vinyl. But imagine my surprise to find this colour on a remarkable single from 1973 and my favourite Ethiopian singer Alemayehu Eshete - Enkoy Nat Yabay Dar. If you don't know him, check him out - prefer him by some distance to Ayalew Mesfin of VMP fame (who I like good enough). He's often known as Ethiopia's James Brown (although to me he leans more towards soul than funk in as much as you can classify his music like that).
