Lou Reed - Words & Music, May 1965
I went in to my local yesterday to pick up a few other things and this was spinning when I walked in. I was under the impression n when it’s was announced that it would not be something essential and it’s probably not but damn Lou Reed as a Lo-Fi Folkie is quite enthralling. I ended up adding it to my stack. I don’t really understand why anybody would need the 2xLP 45 RPM version of this as these recordings are legit 1965 demo quality though the deluxe packaging is quite handsome.
