What's Spinning

A tiny bit disappointed this doesn't have the classic impulse! spine, but I also don't know if the original did.
I noticed this too on this release but never had on Monastic Trio, World Galaxy or Journey In... until I put this on the shelf to join them. Seems none of these Impulse! Alice titles (at least recent reissues) have the classic Impulse! spines.

Yeah, I wondered if this might be the case. My Journey In... does, but otherwise copies of the others I have seen don't. Which I know is also the case with the Sun Ra impulse! releases too. Seems odd, and is a bit disappointing to my ADHD - but, we can't listen to the spines, right?!

The Orange/Black spines had been discontinued by then ,not sure what the last album was but my OG Sun Ship doesn't have it ,## apparently Coltrane's -Selflessness AS9161 was the first to not sport the Orange/Black spine

Sun Ship was the first thing I noticed on the shelf. Then I noticed I had quite a few more without it. Glad they have gone back to it in the modern age.
