only like my 15th spin of this one... haven’t been as addicted to a record in an age. exhibit a in my “why vinyl is better” arguments with family this holiday season, since the digital mastering is an absolute atrocity and the vinyl is a creamy delight

i have a lot of affection for this deeply obscure swedish post-rock band i saw open for unwound in like 2000. they looked like children and played with a lot of earnest intensity. i have no idea how they got hooked up with unwound, but vern liked them enough to release this 10" and an LP on his label, punk in my vitamins. (the runout groove on this record says "beer me!" on both sides, a very vern sentiment.) i thought they were great, and taped them live the next time they (improbably) toured los angeles—a killer set.
anyway, two choice extended guitar jams, very similar to what do make say think would be coming up with around this time. perfect for the 10" format. mellow instrumental guitar bands should really become a thing again.
