Finally have some time to spin some records, listening to the first of the two I'm not familiar with from my Santa - thanks again @The Baby's New Diaper . Really liked the first side, killer instrumentals, beautiful and haunting in equal parts. Side B is off to a great start as well. I'm not normally real big on what I consider the "death metal growls" but they really work here. Another great example of why I always ask my Santa's to give me something out of my wheelhouse!

Yup, I too can count on one hand bands I like that use those type of vocals. But sometimes they do hit just right for me in the context of the music.

Beautiful and haunting is a good description. Glad you're digging it!
