Why is this pressing excellent and Siamese Dream not?

I don't have the "remaster" of Siamese Dream, but I've heard it and wasn't a fan and have stuck with the OP all these years.

I'll be spinning my copy of Pisces Iscariot sometime tonight, but it's a repress of the 2012 release, pressed and cut at Optimal.

The new Siamese Dream looks to be a repress of the 2020 release pressed at GZ/MRP. Cut at Masterdisk by Scott Hull if it is a repress of that pressing.

I did finally get a copy of Gish, I've only owned it on CD - and even then wasn't a huge fan of it...I think it was a thrift store buy in the last 15 years or so.
