Full disclosure, this backlog stuff isn’t necessarily stuff I haven’t gotten around to spinning. There is a huge pile of that. I am trying to clear out space in my record stand.

This has been spun one time, sitting neglected in the club section of my “process.” I think this was one of the deciding motivators for me to join secretly. Then when I got it, it left me kind of flat.

I was excited as I’d listened to quite a bit of Molína’s work because of the good folks here and this was the first one I owned and on vinyl…

It’s hitting a lot better this morning.

The price increases have kind of bummed me out. I don’t actually have anything on preorder from this year yet. I can’t entirely be sure, but I think a long delayed Chatham Rabbits record may be the only thing that isn’t a club record headed my way eventually right now. I do have the most recent Jeff Parker live album sitting at my local that I really should go pick up.

The brightside is that the slow down of stuff coming in has me listening to the records I do own. Meaning I get gems like this that have been gathering dust undeservedly.
