#6: Aphex Twin - SyroThe agutierrezb 2019 record collection challenge
So I've decided to embark on my own personal challenge, which consists of listening every record in my collection before the end of the year. My record collection is not that big -only ~250-, but I still feel like there are a bunch of records I don't give enough attention to, while still adding more titles to my shelves.
For this reason I've set a couple of rules in order to play every record at least once before December 31st: I'll play at least one record a day, going from front to back in the way I have them sorted in my shelf. I can play a different record (i.e. Not the next one in alphabetical order) if I feel like listening to something else in any given moment, but at least one of the records I spin in the day has to be the LP in turn.
I didn't take pictures for the first two days, but I'll try to document the process from here on, so I'll be posting daily on this thread. Wish me luck!

#6: Aphex Twin - Syro
Queen – Greatest Hits
EMI – OLE-7012, 1980
South Korean pressing with a different tracklist than the more well known Greatest Hits release.
Very cool! I have an east germany copy (from memory) which also has a completely different tracklist. Picked it up a few years ago from a fantastic treasure-trove in Berlin called Platten Pedro (see further down the list)Queen – Greatest Hits

It has been a productive morning so far while listening to records...and that 1 cd.
I replaced the switch on my VPI RCM - glad that is finally done. It was way too expensive for what I needed - they sent out a whole new plate with 2 switches. The new plate is plastic - mine is metal. The screw holes on the plastic plate doesn't fit where the holes for mine are....so I had to pop out the glued in switches and put them in my old metal plate. It wasn't hard, but too much $$ for what I needed and ended up using.
I then hung 2 XTC prints....but I'm gonna go get a laser level today to do a better job.
May spend the day moving some posters around....mix it up a little bit.
Both are numbered/signed by Andy Partridge (XTC)

Those prints are awesome! I actually looked up the POP one to try to get it because I liked it so much, but it's sold out haha
