I’ll be honest, I haven’t paid too much attention to Boygenius until now. Although I’m pretty familiar with Phoebe and Julien’s material, and have seen both at their own gigs. I’m less familiar with Lucy Dacus.

They are headlining Connect Festival near Edinburgh in August so I’ll get to see them live this year.

I like Lucy, I don't love her as much as I do Julien & Phoebe. That's not to say that she's not talented - and, I think she adds a great deal to this record. Explore her more, and I'm glad you're getting to see them!
