I tried to describe this album to my girlfriend and words were escaping me, then I blurted out "they sound like the Argentine version of Thievery Corporation!" I think that's actually an apt description.
I saw them live at the Treasure Island Music Festival in 2007 and they put on a fantastic show. I'd love to see them again if they ever toured the US.

Kim Carnes - Mistaken Identity
I was able to snag this MoFi copy for $8 shipped in an auction recently. The vinyl is NM, but the jacket is VG-. I mainly got it for Betty Davis Eyes, but the whole album is better than I remembered. She pretty much sounds like the female Rod Stewart with her semi-gravelly vocals. I've always liked that style but her voice doesn't wear me out as fast as Rod's.
