Chet Baker - Chet

I'm not a huge fan of ballads so you'd think this album (made up almost exclusively of them) wouldn't be my cup of tea, but you'd be wrong. The players on this album are amazing and this recent stereo pressing sounds fantastic!

The Jazzhole

I'm not sure if many people are aware of the Jazzhole but I really dig this album - it's like a nice mix of US 3, Brand New Heavies, and Soul II Soul.

‘79 US PRC pressing. Classic Zappa. Demented genius. Biting sarcasm. Often overtly bad taste lyrics that at times can be pretty disgusting. Excellent musicianship. Catchy song writing. Also, a great sounding recording.
