This album has so much air, space and meticulous detail. I'm amazed by this pressing. Plus my first copy got lost and they productively noticed from the tracking and emailed me to let me know they sent a replacement. And they threw in an extra signed jacket. For those interested in expanding their global music tastes, this is a killer album and will be on my AOTY list for sure.

Really nice press. Not quite as in your face audiophile as some of the MoFi 45s but I really like it. Clean, clear, dead silent black stage and the vocals are front and centre.

Simon And Garfunkel - Bookends

A big shout out to the HumminGuru. It went through it once before when I didn’t have the fluid. Despite no obvious scratches I thought it was noisy like time I played it. Decided to clean it again whilst doing the MoFis. Sounds pretty much perfect.

As for the press, this is just a mov from the AAA plates Ryan Smith did over 10 years ago now. It’s not far off the MoFi and for a lot less money.

As for the album, it’s a classic, maybe my favourite by Simon & Garfunkel. America is an all time favourite song of mine.

This is another great album. Not quite so keen on the ubiquitous title track but The Only Living Boy In New York is another all timer for me!

It's finally here - the VMP version of Honky Château! I tossed it on the turntable without cleaning first and it sounds pretty amazing. I wish they recreated the OG envelope gatefold but it's still a nice package overall.

Reminds me of a record I had years ago, Gay Bikers On Acid’s “Drill Your Own Hole”. Naturally, it didn’t have a center hole. Have no idea where it went.
