Here’s something I just discovered…

The Surf Trio - Almost Summer

The Surf Trio’s debut album from 1986, it was still sealed until just now. They were a surf punk band out of Astoria, OR. To give you an idea of their sound, they thank Brian Wilson, The Ventures, Link Wray, and The Ramones for inspiration and guidance on the back of the jacket. Looking online, it looks like they released a couple more albums and never really took off. Still it’s a pretty fun, high energy listen, worth checking out if garage/surf punk is your thing.
