Fresh grab. One of my mum’s favourite albums.

I’ve been a bit ambivalent about vinyl recently, with the ease of digital appealing. I’ve only listened to this on CD, but this record sounds great, and it’s making me hear this album differently. I’m often reticent to buy albums on vinyl that I own on CD, but I think there are definitely some exceptions.

Anyone here ever heard of Tim Goodman? A solid rocker that went nowhere. The song “New Romeo” should have been in the top ten for a week, anyway. Plus, there’s a Golden Retriever on the back cover so it has that going for it.

My first exposure was the first Farm Aid. Anyone covering Tom Petty is someone.

Boom boom cut. @MikeH not sure if you got this set too, but it's incredible. For a 60s psychedelic/garage style rock band I wasn't sure what to expect out of these cuts. I have a few of their songs on compilations that sound good enough, but these shine. Jackpot is doing great things with their reissue series.

Does your sleeve open on the top, as opposed to on the right side of the cover...with the spine being at the bottom of the image? Mine does...haven't opened it yet, but wondering if this was by design or some kind of mistake at printing?
