I think this was the last of his studio albums I listened to in my first couple years exploring his music, but has since become one of my favourites.

Yeah it’s a great album but I actually struggle with picking a favourite, it’s such a strong career. I do have a fondness for the very early stuff though because I have a thing for starting at the start and working my way through with artists and I did that with Waits too.
