This one arrived a couple of months ago - I bought it for my wife on the sly and tucked it into her to-listen pile, but that pile wound up tucked away a few days later... until this morning. She only just discovered this in there. Her reaction was absolutely worth it!

From the boxset. Pretty happy with this so far at $75, though would be less so if it was any higher. Sound, pressing, and packaging all could be better, but this works for me as a casual Syd fan. Quality-wise, Third Man is way behind VMP.

Last night I heard some odd simbalance when playing a record - so today I swapped the Grado Gold stylus with an 8MZ that I've had for a while - but not that many hours of play time.

Here's why I wasn't getting great sound...



That's a flat diamond.

Spinning some Killing Joke in memory of Geordie who just passed away. This is one of my best record show finds, Hosannas from the basements of Hell, released in 2006. Heavy as with most of KJ. It was repressed in 2022, still affordable at this time, I’d say get one before they rise in cost.
