System Of A Down - Toxicity (2001, reissue 2018)

18 years of this absolute masterpiece. An incredible record that crosses alternative, thrash and speed metal with visceral political aggression. There are no flaws here, a truly perfect and stunning record. The fact that it was the #1 album the day that 9/11 occured is fitting, because this message is a warning to the forces of evil that are high up in our governments, propagating the war on terror. This album's themes apply today just as much as they did one week before the United States was attacked.

Finally picked up this beauty. Had the double CD version forever but finally got it on vinyl. Wish they reissue this with all the tracks... But i'm good with this one it sounds so clean and crisp.

Darrell Banks - Here to Stay

This one stayed in my swap list for a long time until I picked it up in the Bespoke Post bundle a few months ago . Really enjoying it.

My favorite classics release, soooo good!

I forget who I saw playing this, but upon first listen it’s in my Top 5 albums purchased in 2019. Just awesome. View attachment 16202
Yola
Walk Through Fire
I need to give this another listen. She's opening for Kacey Musgraves when I see her on Saturday, but her album didn't really grab me when I listened to it when it first came out. Loved the single though.
