Bob Marley and the Wailers - Catch a Fire
Tuff Gong Jamaica reissue (2023)
Grabbed this on sale at my LRS. Supposedly I also have a free copy coming from UDiscover, but who knows if that will ever pan out.

I grabbed a few - overall what I remember is them being dirty AF, but once I cleaned them up, they all sound quite good. It’s also really cool to have the original Tuff Gong labels. What is the pressing quality of these tuff gong pressings?
How’s it sound? Still on my list to get
I like this album more than the S/T. I think the songs are stronger. I go back to it quite often, and the live show was amazing. Can’t wait to see what’s up next for Ms Clark. Judging by comments today, people didn’t enjoy her take on Bowie as much as I did:

St. Vincent - Daddy’s Home
It's about what I expected from something recorded then. I love this album and wish it was audiophile, but we'll probably never get that even though this would be a great candidate. For what it is, my complaints are minor and some songs sound way better than others on it (Sister, Mother sounds incredible and has the separation and clear vocals that are very slightly muddy on some of the tracks). So on disc one it's a little compressed and could use better oomph, but vocals are mostly clean and if you turn it up a little bit it satisfies. Disc two overall sounds superior, no idea why, even though it has some crackle that disc one didn't.How’s it sound? Still on my list to get
