I saw Soul Asylum in a 1K capacity theatre in March of 1993. I went into that show thinking they were still kinda one of my little secrets. I left that show knowing I'd never see them in a place that small again, at least for the foreseeable future.
I know it's probably overkill for most, but this is hands down one of the nicest put together box sets that I've ever bought. It's lovely throughout. Well worth the $60 (or less) if it's still on Amazon for that, even better if you have access to the 20% off deal that is on it for some.
I hung out with these guys a couple times at the bar in Colorado back when they were working on their demo. Really nice group of fellas. It was crazy to see them break out so big and then kinda sad that they haven't really stayed with it.
