I think Stevie Ray Vaughan got close.

Stevie Ray was a phenom, no doubt about it and, obviously, like Jimi and others, could have created so much more with longer lifespans. As Clapton once said of SR ”he never had to reload, the music just flowed through him”. Or something like that.
We all have our favorites and Mr. Beck is mine.
