That sounds like a pleasant evening. I need to catch up on some new records I have a pretty deep backlog going.

over the moon to have turned up a copy of smudge’s “tea, toast, and turmoil” in the wild today. it doesn’t get more basic as far as 90’s indie rock, but the hooks are bulletproof and there’s a sense of ebullience throughout that just delights me.

fans of the lemonheads should spend time with these guys, head smudger tom morgan co-wrote many of their best tunes
