Cal Tjader - The Exotic Sounds of Cal Tjader

This is such a fantastic bumper 2LP compilation, especially if you are into latin jazz. From what I can make out it combines songs from Tjader's 'Breeze From The East', 'In A Latin Bag' and 'Several Shades of Jade' albums. I've been digging deep into the back catalogue recently and loving all of this guy work, its just super uplifting!

EDIT: of course they're sold out, so they can't even replace it. I guess I will need to get a refund and buy a standard copy.

hmmm, shit is weird. a little while ago I bought a copy of the VMP OMG on discogs and in passing mentioned my situation. the seller wanted me to send him a picture of my scratch so that he could check his to make sure it didn't have the same scratch (even though in his description he stated it was a "perfect copy"). like, why would his record have the same scratch as mine? I am thinking that he was trying to possibly get a free refund off of my defective copy. ugh. not sure how this will play out, I paid via PayPal so I think should be covered if I cancel which I might do because something seems off about this whole exchange right now.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK -- this just keeps getting weirder. so the seller decided to send me a video of his copy at the same spot where I have my scratch and his has the EXACT SAME DEFECT!!!!

I checked it again on streaming and it's definitely not part of the record...what the hell is going on here? has anyone else noticed this with their copy?!?
