Way better looking than I was expecting. Wasn't expecting so much marbling.M
thats real purdy.
Morrison Hotel almost always fails to get mentioned when talking The Doors and that's a shame. It stands toe to toe with their best. It's based in the blues but also has some of Jim's most heartfelt love songs in there - Blue Sunday, Indian Summer, The Spy - gorgeous stuff bookended by the grit of Roadhouse Blues and Maggie McGill. Perfect sequencing on this one.@Joe Mac being all hyped about the most recent RHF got me to remember that I have ones I haven’t played.

The Doors - Morrison Hotel
My apologies to the Doors, they made three essential albums. Holy shit this sounds good.
I thought it was strange that you even had it.This album is utter shit. I’ve seen the word vapid used to describe artists and albums before on here but never has it been more apt.
Numero uno into the cull pile!
Edit: I actually couldn’t finish it, it was musical hell.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. That AAA press is real nice. Thanks, @Mather! It does indeed sound fantastic. Makes me mourn him all over again to hear such passion and life like it's right here with me.
