I'll be seeing both Isbell and Drive-By Truckers in Vancouver this May and June too! Also, clipping. in May as well. And comedian Josh Johnson in August. It may not be as wild and full a list as yours, but it's definitely the most shows I've had lined up in short order in at least 8 years.

Right on! I really wish I lived in an area with a couple clubs in walking distance, I'd be seeing even more. Maybe once the kids are totally gone and we downsize.

Full disclosure, I have never listened to a Soul Coughing album before. I picked this up because so many people consider it a classic or include it on their greatest albums of all time list.

I just made it to side D and have loved this album so far. Well worth the purchase.

Welcome! Their other two albums are absolutely worthwhile, but this one is essential! Glad you liked it.

Side D is mostly supplementary material, but it's good stuff too.

I haven’t listened to that particular album but Irresistible Bliss was fairly popular amongst me and my xennial pals back in the day. “Super Bon Bon” was a minor hit and received some MTV airplay.

Their third album, El Oso probably got the most radio play though with the hit single “Circles”.
