What's Spinning

Extremely fortunate to see this band in 2019 in a club setting. Took me back to ‘68/‘69 with the power of their music relating to the depth of emotional despair many of us felt at that weird time in politics, similar to current events. They literally blew me away. Killer, dark music with a perfect pressing.

On this day Covid (aka "The Democrats new hoax" - Trump) took John Prine from us. Also screw every one of you who voted this narcissistic imbecile into office a second time.

The last song on John Prine's last record. Eerily prophetic. Prine humor in spades...

John Prine - The Tree Of Forgiveness

Handsome Johnny included as it rightly should...

Martin Sexton came out running with his debut Black Sheep. Songs written thru the school of hard knocks. IMHO he burned out early but I admit I haven’t followed his recent work. This newly remastered live album captures him at his peak. Sounds excellent.
