No besmirching of you intended! Only of the soundtrack itself, and that it certainly has not aged well. To be fair though, still better than the Brady Bunch covering the Beatles.

When my wife didn’t holler about Alice Cooper’s I Want You, I went and checked on her. She said she had put her ear buds in long before that because of “all the nonsense going on out there.” lol.

I saw the movie when I had the flu as a kid. It hit during the worst part of the fever. I have a soft spot for this ( and Pink Floyd’s The Wall which premiered on MTV the night I was in surgery recovery from Testicular Tortion and on a morphine drip)…. I saw the Tommy film during the same week off from school.

And my parents wonder why I liked psychedelic/psychotropic drugs so much.

I'm lucky in that I'm the only one home today. Beetween this and the Christmas album someone would have come in to check on my well being by now.

My oldest sister took me to see the movie during the initial release and had the soundtrack. So I have a soft spot for it for memories sake. It just doesn't apply to actually listening to it.

Was the only record I bought in college. The antique shop in Boone had it and I bought it on sight.

2nd play thru of new Deafheaven also. Epic wall of sound. 👍

This version is described Drinking Silver “clear with silver glitter”. Thought vinyl would be a noisy mess when I ordered it. I was afraid to run my stylus through it at 1st. But, surprisingly it sounds great. Even at relatively high volume during quiet passages and song breaks my vinyl pressing sounds better/quieter than many recent std blk lps I’ve bought. Looks great in person. Amazing.

@Wes C. Attle First off, this sounds fantastic - Neil's voice is loud and clear, instruments have great separation and there's some nice bass to the recording.

My only disappointment is the packaging - single outer sleeve w two records in plain inner sleeves, no inserts. I gladly would have paid more for a nice glossy gatefold sleeve with photos from the show and maybe an essay from Neil talking about the event. That being said, I'm more than happy to have it in the collection, especially sounding as good as it does!
