Liking this. Comfort music. TH’s 1st LP with Joan Osborne is/was good. The new singer Amber Woodhouse steps right in. A fine effort all around. Looks and sounds nice also.
Note: Somebody a couple weeks back spun this and brought it to my attention. Didn’t know they had a new one out. You know who you are. Thx much.
White Zombie – La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1 Music On Vinyl – MOVLP534, 1992/2012
Numbered/Limited to 1000 on white marbled translucent vinyl, #315 (number was on the hype sticker on the shrink...long since thrown away...whoops. At least they don't do this anymore)
Ween - Chocolate And Cheese (1994) - What can I say about Ween? They're one of those bands who could record 20 songs and they'd all be in different genres and styles, but somehow they make it work. This is a Plain Recordings pressing so it's not the best but it could be worse... Apparently this album just turned 25 back in September
getting ready for my first Wilco show in two years next week with the album I call the waiting for Nels album. All the songs on this album take off once Nels joins the band. These feel like demos vs what happens shortly there after on kicking television
Met Roy wood a few times, very down to earth, used to drink in the bar next door to my work in the late 80’s ...in the heyday of the move he was a regular around Erdington in his Rolls Royce , lived round the corner from my dad
It's been a while since I haven't post a picture here. Well, it had to be something big like a N&G AOTM.
Ruen Brothers – All My Shades of Blue
(produced by Rick Rubin, vinyl lacquers cut by Bernie Grundman, picked by @ThePakoBuelna, pressed at QRP on 180gr vinyl)
Celia & Johnny - Celia & Johnny (Vaya Records, 2019 VMP Classics pressing)
This is another I picked up blind, never heard of either Celia or Johnny and I had no idea what the music was going to be like. And man, im super happy with this, its so lively and energetic. Superb stuff from Classics once again!
