This band was kind of a big deal in this area in the mid-90’s. A record store I used to frequent (Secret Sounds) used to hold shows in their basement of underground or up-and-coming bands. (Another band that played in that basement: Stereolab.)

This and their full-length got played with regularity in the store, and they were booked (from my understanding) several times... I only found one show from this basement, that my buddy Dave had on video and posted to the Secret Sounds Facebook page, and they were amazing no matter how small or large the crowd.

When I heard Adam died yesterday, Dave was the first person I called.
There have been a lot of phone calls around here. And the half that knew Adam and aren’t ugly crying are just dumbstruck. It’s not fair that a talent this massive who made such great musical contributions and statements would be gone so quickly.

I am so grateful I had 25 years with this music so far. Thank you, Adam Schlesinger.

Nice, that’s a good one, Kevin Gray who mastered that did a whole series of Miles Mono albums a few years ago which are all really good.

I’ve been streaming that...haven’t ponied up (see what I did there?) for the vinyl ... yet.
“Big Mouth Blues” tickles my Crowe’s Funny Bone.
This clip you posted is fire...I need the quarantine to end soon so I can get back to the Honky Tonk.
