What's Spinning

There’s throwaway and utter evil pointless garbage !

I’m a big U2 fan since the 80’s and that song has torpedoed them creatively ever since ..hence the long delays between albums now and second guessing themselves ... such a shame as No Line is a great album apart from the three singles ... moment of surrender is a beautiful song ... Boots really should have been left in the can especially as they have a load of unreleased stuff from the time that’s languishing in the vaults now ...

Rant over ! I really hate Boots 🥾

Moment of surrender is a classic as far as I'm concerned. (y)

Two more Iggy. Instinct, with Steve Jones. A metal based albums. Pretty forgettable apart from High On You and Cold Metal. Love Cold Metal.

Brick By Brick. This album features Slash and Duff from Guns N Roses on a few songs. Favourite track on it is Candy with Kate Pierson. Much better than I remember it to be. Don Was produces, pre-Blue Note anthology podcast days for him.

Taking a break from Iggy discography plays. Vauxhall and I. I know, I know. I still love this album. Maybe more than anything by The Smiths. It and Southpaw Grammar. It still sounds good, so many memories and times spent listening to it. It lasted exactly the length of driving from my old flat to work coincidentally, I would pull up into the carpark as the final drums of Speedway clattered away.
