What's The Most Valuable Record In Your Collection?

excluding box sets:

since last time, some noteworthy changes: the value on miles davis IASW and BB plummeted (for obvious reasons); jean dawson and an original slowdive "pygmalion" came up substantially; OG US "supreme clientele," "surfer rosa," and "raw power" shot up; and i finally sourced a copy of brainiac's "bonzai superstar" 😎

I waited a good 6 months this time since my last post because there wasn't much changing.

And nothing much has happened this year -

The Doors box set appearing in the Top 10 isn't surprising given the price, but that's the only 2024 release. There are a few that just missed the cut off value...which is $125.00 and that's the median value of the Zack Snyder's Justice League box set.

Top 10 by median value -

The price for that DOOM XMAS is especially crazy

Also, I had no idea that Hemlocke Springs was already so valuable. I've had people write me on Discogs AND Instagram lately asking if I'd be willing to sell it.

And I think I've mentioned it before, but I found that Santigold a few years ago at a local Barnes & Noble for 40 or 50 percent off during one of their sales. I'd never seen it in stores before and it was already out of print at that point. 🤷🏻‍♂️
