ahhh yes the beeeee! yesterday’s
upheaval
was hard. i didn’t make it past great. and looking at all the words i missed? such shame.
i competitively did the nyt crossword every single day for the past 3ish years, but we broke up last month & i haven’t (emotionally) been able to do one since. i miss it. hopefully, i can still get Monday’s in under 5min. but doing it alone won’t be as fun for fridays and saturdays - if one of us was missing something after we each filled everything we could in, we’d barter with each other, making equal trades. unless of course one of us didn’t need help, in which one of us would finish the puzzle and not help the other person until their time was a loser. ::sigh::
i always whooped his ass on the bee though. i usually get it instantly, and do it til i get to genius.
