Man and this doesn't even count the half of crate I came back from Virginia with. Lot of classical and some random country and pre seventies pop. The big get was Simon and Garfunkel's Debut and The Graduate Soundtrack which means I have a studio discography completed for them now.

I can usually let these things slide pretty easily, but I've passed on a couple of sweet things not to be seen again. My biggest regret was picking up the new Sun Ra Arkestra album a while back instead of the Acoustic Sounds version of Pastel Blues because I was most excited about the Sun Ra but knew I really wanted the Nina, which I haven't seen again in the wild, while the Sun Ra Arkestra is readily available elsewhere -- Ooops! Rookie move.

Ironically it’s always the things I didn’t buy that I remember and regret ...the biggies are let it be naked, the Zeppelin 6 lp Box Set and the Floyd Echos box set (the last two were around £100 buy it now but they’ve shot up since) ..the other one was the Prince 4ever Box Set ..which was really cheap in the amazon new year sales at the time and has now vanished

Yeah I had to buy that prince one from Amazon US after it disappeared on the UK and it disappeared from there soon after too! It is the kind of thing that you’d not be surprised if it got repressed again at some some point in the future.

I think the reason I have so many FOMO regrets is pretty much entirely VMP, I bought so much stuff off them that was never really for me because of forum hype and their whole FOMO sales culture.

Hope so but with Princes estate it’s a bit hit n miss now (Sony have control over most of it , Warner’s got the soundtrack stuff)

Eventually with stuff like that they money to be made should knock them back into circulation. If there’s a bit of a label mess it may cause a delay. That was the first release after his death by the estate if I’m remembering correctly?
