I would even make the case for Tears For Fears - Songs from the Big Chair should be included in the Classic Rock tent

#1 Record for Big Star for me. Radio City is great, but I prefer the first one.

So this is the 2nd of the albums that I had never heard that was placed in a Top 3 and I just bought without listening..

Thanks to @Russ I for the recommendation! I like Steve Winwood a lot, had heard some Traffic but not the whole album. Love it! Bought an OG copy and its great!

Sweet! This is one of a handful of records I like to pull out and play whenever I make a change to my playback system. Looks great on that Thorens! (The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys isn't too shabby either .)

One of my favorites. Their self titled is great as well.

I’d also recommend the concert film The Last Waltz. Directed by Scorsese.

I've had that on my watchlist on Netflix or Amazon forever, and have just never watched it. I will now for sure.

I suggest the Blueray. You will want to watch it over and over again. A staple in our house. I also suggest the recent The Band documentary Once We Were Brothers.

One is a concert, one is a documentary. I will believe Robbie over junkies though.

The Last Waltz is indeed a must watch, I've seen it many, many times over the years, worth it for Van's performance and Rick doing Makes No Difference and The Night They Drove .. Funny as shit too !

I read somewhere that Scorsese was really unhappy with Neil Young's stunt of walking onstage with a rock of cocaine the size of a grape stuck in his nostril. Editing that out was a nightmare evidently. Sex, drugs and rock 'n roll!
