7 just by me - wife not a fan and the three year old likes Bluey soundtracks and Caspar Babypants.I’m sure. Between my wife and kid playing it in the car I probably have 7 or 8 full listens.
I have a sixteen year old, him and all his buddy’s are all over these albums. New Tyler, Kendrick so on and so forth, telling me to listen to this album and that. Which is great but not always good.7 just by me - wife not a fan and the three year old likes Bluey soundtracks and Caspar Babypants.
I’m not sure my very busy 28 year old got to it this week. She was in New York earlier this week and in Houston with her Mom’s family for Thanksgiving. It is right up her alley (her Uncle’s too. He’s there this weekend as well - she was with them last weekend and saw Kacey Musgraves. Pretty sure he went to that because his niece and wife wanted to go.)I have a sixteen year old, him and all his buddy’s are all over these albums. I’m sure if we could tally the forum, Kendrick would top this week, easy.
Always cool to see Layla McCalla get some love. I’ve not heard of Rachel Chinouriri before, will check it out.My week - checked out a few new albums and ones from random best of 24 list write-ups that looked like a match for my taste. Shabaka, Jamie XX, Leyla McCalla, and Rachel Chinouriri are all fantastic, the drums on the back half of McCalla's "Tree" are amazing. The new Blueprint is one of my favorites from him in a while that made me revisit Adventures in Counter-Culture. Shaboozey is interesting, I like the vibe but not sure if it's for me.
