What year is this? … Tripping Daisy is touring? 👀

I know The Polyphonic Spree played a show last year in Austin. I was supposed to go but losing my job killed that. Does Tim tour the Spree outside of regional stops? I can’t imagine it works at all financially for him/them to do so in the current climate. Hopefully this Tripping Daisy tour is a winner money wise. He seems like a good dude.

@Aron I saw the Spree at Bumbershoot in Seattle last year, and it was just a stop on the tour. They played Portland the night before.

@Matt M Cool! I was bummed to miss that show. I was a bit surprised how much I liked their most recent album. Seems like it flew a bit under the radar. Have they scaled back the number of players on stage? Once the money is split up amongst all of those people I can’t imagine that it is super profitable, but, hey, what do I know.
Whoa whoa whoa - Sister Nancy "One, Two" got reissued for RSD!?!?!?!
I was glued to the TV last night during Kraftwerk's set at Coachella and realized I don't really know much of their stuff. I'll have to correct that.
Tennis 🎾 announced indefinite hiatus following last album and farewell tour 😕
So… at the record store today… there was a record in the used bin that was 33 1/3 except for the fifth song (end of first side) that was 78. wtf?
Anyone ever pay for international shipping only to have something ship domestically? I ordered Morgan Saint's album from Diggers Factory. It's only available via D2C and was pressed to demand. The album price was listed in pounds and shipping was from the UK so it was like $24 S&H.

Diggers Factory ships out of different countries. Sometimes France, sometimes UK, sometimes US. Some releases are only available to ship from one of the locations and you don't get to pick, it's just based on what their system has available when you order. But if a release is selling big in the US, for instance, they'll ship a pallet over and then individual copies will go out over here.

@Hemotep if that is the case, I just wish they would adjust the shipping rate if they decide to ship domestically instead of from the UK.

@RenegadeMonster I don't necessarily disagree, I just don't think it's an easy thing to do logistically after the fact. Plus it's not like they're not still paying for international shipping, they're just shipping a crate rather than individually for the first step. It's probably better for your records arriving in good condition too.
I was able to get that Pharoah Sanders RSD release btw and it's so, so good. Any time I see Leon Thomas in the credits it's an instabuy for me. I can't get enough of jazz yodeling.
