That’s less than $345/8 though and they’ve shown themselves to historically overprice leftover stock from ROTMs for non members/subscribers. I’m going to speculate a truly ridiculous $50. I hope to god that for sanities sake we’re both too high!

I took that to mean available in the store after the experience. And I would imagine, if there is a mark down, it won't be beyond what blue note folks paid. But, I reserve the right to wrong as nothing shocks me anymore round there

That was my first thought too.... poor souls. I may be a sucker, but I'm only a sucker at $33 per record!

It stands to reason then that there will be around 100-150 copies of these records available for individual purchase eventually. Not a bad deal for those that were going to poach what they wanted off of discogs when the dust settles. Unless they do in fact charge 50 a record.

Sounds like the first four are label-specific boxes, and the next one's going to be non-classic... so more contemporary label? Rock-focused? Then after that, who knows. I wonder how far in advance they're planning, at least two ahead.

I, for one, cannot wait for the haggis themed men in kilts playing movie soundtracks on bagpipes anthology.
