Neverending Covid-19 Coronavirus

Just found out that NASCAR is running a virtual race right now.

Quite impressed that they have managed to accomplish this and it's quite entertaining / humorous. Very crashy

It's a program called iRacing. I'm into pretty big. Loads of fun, but HARD. I just finished racing 20 people at Nurburgring. Started in 9th, finished in 6th.

Emma, a 12-year-old girl, is "fighting for her life" in an Atlanta hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus, according to her cousin.

Justin Anthony told CNN that Emma was diagnosed with pneumonia on March 15 and tested positive for coronavirus on Friday night. As of Saturday, she was on a ventilator and is currently in stable condition, Anthony said.
Emma had no pre-existing conditions. She has not traveled recently and it's unknown how she contracted the virus, according to Anthony.

Wow, hearing about someone who works in a corporate office in Ohio. HIs company did not even plan for or consider for working from home as an option even though that about 90% of the office jobs could be conducted from home. Now that Ohio has issued a stay at home order the company has sent out a notice for people to use their PTO while they figure things out. Such as if their network can support this, can they set up a VPN. They sent a survey home to find out what equipment people have and they think they will be able to work from home.

A local newspaper in Niagara Falls, NY is reporting that Harvey Weinstein has been put into isolation after testing positive for coronavirus.

Vanity has says this has been reported, but saying they are still trying to confirm.

According to this press conference, 9 out 10 people testing for the coronavirus in the United States so far have not tested positive.

10% positives is still a very high number. That said, it's hard to make inferences because the sample is not random. On one hand you have people with symptoms. On the other you have people with means jumping the queue. Also depends on someone making a call on who gets a test and who doesn't.

There needs to be random population testing. (I wouldn't know how to go about that.)

The most recent data I've seen shows about 14% positive. NY has been raising it daily lately. I think it was 12% two days ago.
