I’m not sure about new label but Resident is a UK record store that also sells on-line. I think Resident just jumped the gun on the email announcement a bit. YouTube shows new song premieres in morning in US. Likely we will see all the various options in morning?

Thanks for the clarification. if they have a label it’s likely small and Kurt probably signed with a major and not with them. That makes sense.

Yeah once I googled it I realized outlets have been reporting KV was signed to a “major” for a whole year. I don’t know why that just jumped out so hard at me tbh.

He used to be on Woodsist, so Matador already felt like "the big time," to me (and, most likely, him), when he signed to them.

Some proceeds go towards their original bassists cancer treatment. Says it's the first run in a series of re-released rarities, so hopefully they eventually have a full LP of them all as I used to have so many downloaded on limewire or wherever back in the day. Not before Hell Below/Stars Above though!
