I think the larger labels are hoping it will burst so they can get everyone back to streaming, which is less of a logistics hassle and more profitable for them. They will cash in as long as they can on vinyl at the upper threshold customers are willing to pay. Reality is we may never see it go back to $20-28 per LP.I am really thinking the vinyl bubble is about to burst. No way most collectors are going to continue paying $50 for each release. At least most of the artists I like are still in the $20-25 range thankfully.
Seems like the streaming and vinyl bubbles are set to explode at the same time. This makes way for *prison mike voice* da belle of da ball: Compact Discs that come with free downloads to be played on any device at any time.I think the larger labels are hoping it will burst so they can get everyone back to streaming, which is less of a logistics hassle and more profitable for them. Modern cars these days don't come with CD players anymore. That might limit any CD resurgence. Then again, the diehards will be ready with their discmans and an aux cable. Competition has destroyed the music industry, instead of enriching it. We will continue to run in circles trying things that have already been done.

I would argue that it's not competition that is destroying the music industry but instead, that it's becoming a lot more compact with investors owning catalogs instead of musicians and music streaming services sending a steady income to those investors. When streaming becomes just another income source for investors, that's when you destroy the music industry.
Those bastards better not take my aux ports!Do cars have aux ports anymore? I’ve yet to see one in my new one, lots of USB ports though!
Better turn the skip protection on that bitch.Modern cars these days don't come with CD players anymore. That might limit any CD resurgence. Then again, the diehards will be ready with their discmans and an aux cable. Ha ha.

Hmmm. I got a new car 2 years ago and honestly have no idea if it has an aux port. My guess is probably not.Do cars have aux ports anymore? I’ve yet to see one in my new one, lots of USB ports though!
