Just give VMP your money! You probably eat meat and animals are getting tortured for you to eat a burger. You probably have an apple or Samsung product and slavery and kids have been killed to collect batteries for their products. So much evilness that giving your money to VMP is so harmless in comparison! The Mariah is a tough one. I want that record, but I don’t wanna give VMP my money.![]()
Just got my Stella Donnelly in the mail from VMP today. they're fresh out of replacements too. @Mather, think you can get this warp out?

i think sonic said it best
"there is no such thing as ethical consumption under capitalism"
It’s not about ethics, it’s about the fact that I just don’t like VMP anymore and I don’t want to give them my money. It isn’t about being ethical, it’s personal.Just give VMP your money! It’s all about you in the end! As long as you’re not negatively affecting others!

See if this fits underneath the warp"That'll play and looks cosmetic" - VMP Staffer
eh thats perfectly fine.... in all honesty its all just the choice of how you personally feel about this stuff.. if you think VMP are bad enough that you dont wanna buy an album you really want from them... you are all in your right to, thats the basic idea of a boycott. but if you want mariah more than you dislike VMP, thats perfectly fine.. its acceptable to buy things from places that are horrible..It’s not about ethics, it’s about the fact that I just don’t like VMP anymore and I don’t want to give them my money. Oh, good point, did they ever specify the proper nickel orientation of the required check?See if this fits underneath the warp

Co-sign on My LifeI am so happy VMP chose to exclusively press Mariah Carey’s “Daydream”. My jaw dropped when I actually looked at the VMP email and saw the Mariah Carey exclusive! Absolutely over the moon with the Daydream exclusive. And the colour variant couldn’t have been more better!
VMP must be feeling QUEEN as fuck with all these mid 90’s classic R&B/Hip-Hop albums by iconic divas! We got TLC, then Lil’ Kim and now......MARIAH CAREY!
Who’s next?
Hmmmm, I smell a Mary J. Blige exclusive coming our way! Maybe we will finally get a reissue of Mary J Blige’s classic “My Life”
VMP really is striking the iron while it’s hot!
I cannot wait to spin these exclusives and feel the nostalgia even though I didn’t grow up with any of these albums![]()
Official rule is store credit is given equal to the value of nickels fitting under.Oh, good point, did they ever specify the proper nickel orientation of the required check?
RSD shit is overpriced too.
Worth noting that there is always a good amount of stuff that doesn't sell for RSD and hasn't increased in value. Definitely are always the white whales though.I agree, it’s expensive. Overpriced is tough because as with all products, they’re worth what people will pay. For the first few years I was back into buying records I thought they were really overpriced and then I checked an inflation calculator and from my memory of what I paid as a kid, most new release records would actually be less in today’s money compared to back then. I agree RSD stuff and this at $34 seems expensive to me but my point is I dare say a lot of people think slightly differently on RSD in regards worth when ultimately it’s a comparable title, pressed comparably with a comparable limitation.
