$34 is a lot of money but I suspect if this were an RSD release limited to 2-3k as it sounds this one is, it would be priced similarly, many of you would queue for hours to get it and possibly pay over the retail prices if you missed out. I don’t think personally that VMP are gouging too much on this one, it seems like an appropriate price (shipping included) for a sought after album with high prices attached to OGs.

It’s not about ethics, it’s about the fact that I just don’t like VMP anymore and I don’t want to give them my money. It isn’t about being ethical, it’s personal.

eh thats perfectly fine.... in all honesty its all just the choice of how you personally feel about this stuff.. if you think VMP are bad enough that you dont wanna buy an album you really want from them... you are all in your right to, thats the basic idea of a boycott. but if you want mariah more than you dislike VMP, thats perfectly fine.. its acceptable to buy things from places that are horrible..

its all your choice.. i dunno flip a coin or something

I agree, it’s expensive. Overpriced is tough because as with all products, they’re worth what people will pay. For the first few years I was back into buying records I thought they were really overpriced and then I checked an inflation calculator and from my memory of what I paid as a kid, most new release records would actually be less in today’s money compared to back then. I agree RSD stuff and this at $34 seems expensive to me but my point is I dare say a lot of people think slightly differently on RSD in regards worth when ultimately it’s a comparable title, pressed comparably with a comparable limitation.

Worth noting that there is always a good amount of stuff that doesn't sell for RSD and hasn't increased in value. Definitely are always the white whales though.

Definitely, they put out some right shite tbh, I wish they’d concentrate on 100 stellar titles per year and press enough to satisfy the masses. I know the limitation is a big selling factor for many though. Also why I could never be a successful flipper, I’d end up buying 20 each of the lemons that nobody wanted, lol!
