Love that lamp.Did some tidying up of the plant shelf on the mezzanine this weekend. One of the kiddos managed to talk me into the small cactuses at IKEA. Not sure how to take care of them since I’ve killed every succulent I’ve ever owned.

I think I grabbed it from World Market ages ago. Never found a great place for it until I moved the table and plants up to a strange little catwalk/mezzanine to nowhere above our entry hallway.Love that lamp.
5 yards
I probably did overbuy... but the shipping cost meant that I didn't want to run short. I've got places to hide it on nearly 1/2 acre. That is quite the haul!
I moved just one yard a week ago. 5 will make a bunch of new beds.![]()
I'm happy to say that after a month gone my plants did not die and most were doing pretty well. They were definitely getting water from that bucket as I left it full and came back with 3/4 gone.I've got my irrigation set up for a work trip.
Here's hoping I don't come back to a plant massacre in 25 days.

We got some pickling cucumbers as well. I have canned pickles but it was a while ago. I think I want to go strawberry and blueberry (and maybe blackberry) picking and can some pie filling and jam.A sample of what the garden could hold this year. Plus the tomatoes and peppers as usual. Really excited to see how the pickling cucumbers do. This might be my gateway into canning.

Forgot I used all the chive seeds… so I’ll have some of those too maybe.
Anybody have success with sprays or other means of repelling digging pests?
